Diamond D Ranch Insurance
Diamond D Ranch Insurance was founded in 2020 by Mary Meyer, who brought over 20 years of experience in agricultural extension, livestock nutrition, and management. Through her work, Mary built strong relationships with producers across Montana and recognized the opportunity to combine her expertise in livestock and agriculture with insurance products designed to strengthen producers’ bottom lines. Following Mary’s passing from breast cancer in 2023, her brother and business partner, Ben, carried forward her vision and continues to lead the business today.
Mary named the business Diamond D after inheriting her grandfather’s brand. Mary and Ben’s roots in Montana are five generations deep.
Ben takes pride in building strong relationships with producers by learning about their operations, understanding their needs, assessing their risk tolerance, and aligning insurance solutions with their long-term goals. Based in western Montana, he brings firsthand knowledge of local weather patterns, market dynamics, and the agricultural lifestyle that defines the Treasure State.
Diamond D Ranch Insurance is the only agency headquartered in western Montana with a focus on livestock products, specifically PRF and LRP.
Mary’s legacy continues through Diamond D Ranch Insurance’s support of youth across Montana at county fair livestock sales. Since her passing, numerous young 4-H and FFA members have received add-on contributions to their market livestock auction checks in Mary’s memory. Mary grew up a proud 4-H and FFA member and worked hard to support youth in agriculture in her professional endeavors and personal mentorship of youth.
